Despite extensieve searches of this forum and Google, I still have not figured out how to create a new torrent. all I want is a simple pre-compiled BT client for QNAP with the standard features of an elegant implementation of BT like uTorrent's PC-based app. ![]() sorry but I have no desire to dive into the in/outs of Linux. I have no interest in mucking around with command line hash, tar balls, etc. I can accept the fact that Download Station is time based (very odd) rather then share ratio based (like every other BT client in existense) but am extremely disappointed with the inability to create a new torrent using the "front end" BT application built into the QNAP. Download Station has no functionality in this regard. However, I am completely lost on how to create a new torrent file which I can seed from my QNAP. ![]() I recently bought a TS-209 and am reasonably happy with its features/performance.
